clutch pedal adjustment....?

How do you adjust the clutch pedal? My friction point is like 1/4" off the floor and I'd like to move it out a bit. Isn't it like a 12mm bolt then you just loosen, move, tighten, test? Please help.

Little more complex than that. It's a 12mm nut above the gas pedal. You have to loosen that, then with a pliers or vise-grip you have to turn the rod about 1/4 turbo at a time. Make sure not to move it to far out though or the rod will pop out.

So loosen the bolt, don't take it off, just loosen it. Then do a 1/4 turn and tighten it all back up and test it? If it needs more loosen again and another 1/4 turn and test again?

Well I noticed you have a VR-4 so it might be different but there is a nut on the shaft that goes into the master cylinder right about the gas pedal. You loosen that. Then you can turn it as much as you want until you think its right, tighten the nut, then test it out.

If you would happen to turn it to far out could this allow air into the master cylinder? Causing me to have to bleed my system?

Galants are almost like a 1G the push rod is at the top of the clutch pedal loosen the jam nut and then turn the other nut above it to tighten the rod, The pedal should have about a 1/4 inch of free play at the top befor you press it. It won't bleed air into the master cylinder. Go alil bit at a time to get it where you like it.
