Hey. I've searched the forums but can't seem to find a problem like this. I'm getting a slight clicking sound from my clutch pedal when it comes back out. It goes in smooth, no jerkiness, and engages fine. When it's coming back up, it makes a noise like it's catching on something in the last 1-2 inches of travel. I've taken the cotter pins out to take a look under the dash but nothing seems to be in the way. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

My 92 tsi has the same problem, and I've been told it could be the slave cylinder. But mine also does it when being pressed down. Im goin to check it out this weekend.

Cool. Let me know if it works. Honestly, if something is not wrong with my dsm every week, I get antsy.

Hey I just checked out the clutch issue today and determined that it is the slave cyliner in my case, but not sure if yours is the same problem. If it isn't then it could also possibly be the clutch fork. Im replacing both on mine next weekend.
