clutch on floor after tranny install need help fast.

Hi,

Well i just finally got my tranny back today from being fixed. So I put it back in and put the whole car back together. I get to try and start the car and push the clutch in( very easily). But the clutch stayed at the floor. I can pull it back with my hand. And pumping it will make it a bit stiff like normal, but go back to nothing again. I can push the slave cylinder by hand with some resistance, and not at all when the clutch is at the floor.

I dont know what could be the problem, i just read it could be master or slave cylinder. But how could that just stop working over a two week period?

I need help fast guys, I need to car back and running for tomorrow.

Did you Bleed the system after reinstalling the tranny?

bleed the clutch. tighten up the bleeder on the slave. pump clutch.

Check your fluid level first, otherwise a clutch pedal sticking to the floor usually means a leaking slave or master cylinder.

If everything was FINE before the tranny install... The most logical explanation is that YOU NEED TO KEEP BLEEDING!!! "I keep keep bleeding love"... I mean yeah! Keep bleeding to see if it helps!

Yep, bleeding it fixed it. Right after I posted this I was like "why not bleed the clutch?" But thanks for the replys. Works great now.
