Clutch line

If this is located in the wrong place please move, i need to know where i could buy the Clutch line, not the rubber one that goes to the slave cylinder but the one from the master cylinder all the way to where it meets up with the rubber one under the fuse box. That thin metal line, where can i buy it? For some odd reason this line got red hot and a flame started, yes it caught on fire and it fried it, luckily nothing else got in the way and it only got burnt half way. Thanks

It burned because by some bizarre circumstance it became the ground for the electrical system from the engine to the battery. Let me guess, did it go while starting the car?

Dealer-only item, or made by hand from tubing. And god knows what all you'll need to remove to be able to install a new one.

Luckily it didn't burn all the way only from the tranny up to by the battery, i was thinking of attaching a rubber gasoline line with clamps? What do you think, or maybe using all braided ss lines, but i was wondering if anyone one had these small enough or with the fittin that screws into the master cylinder.

Rubber won't be strong enough, but an industrial hydraulics shop should be able to make you a braided replacement. Make sure you get it long enough that you clear all the hot places.

Thanks for all your help, i contacted SBR and they'll make me a complete ss braided line from the master cylinder to the slave. Hope it all fits good and well. Thanks
