Clutch falls flat

Hey guys, i recently purchased my first DSM, a 95 Eclipse GS-T. They guy i bought it from said the clutch needed to be bled and when i test drove it that seemed to be just about right. The clutch seemed like it didnt have a whole lot of pressure and he kept telling me to pump it (which works). So i bought it and bled the clutch out and it still falls flat without me pumping it first. I dont know if i just bled it wrong or if something else could b wrong. help please?

It usually takes a real long time to FULLY bleed the line. When I did mine I kept bleeding it for aobut 10 mins straight and it felt better but still wasnt good enough to stop my gears from grinding while standing . So I bled it some more(about 40 mins, yes 40 mins on continuous bleeding with a friend) which helped alot

If that fails you can try adjusting the rod behind the clutch.

1 full bottle of a 32oz prestone brake fluid
