Hey, I'm gonna go check out a car tomorrow, I want to ask the current owner some more questions before I go though? Just going off the listing, is there anything specific I should ask about or that stands out?

So its a;

1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Euro spec, meaning 4g63 N/A
All rust has apparently been repaired
All fluids + oil filter have been replaced
Double DIN radio
New CAT-back stainless steel exhaust
Timing belt was replaced a few thousand km ago
Original bumper is included
And it is registered with MOT until 27-06-2024

The fact that it's registered, in the Netherlands nonetheless, gives me confidence that its not a piece of shit, am I crazy for wanting it?

I'd be very cautious about the "rust being repaired." That black spray paint on the right strut tower gives me serious pause... I'd think a professional would have matched the paint...

The mods make me wonder as well... I would ask about/look for wiring hacks...

pull the japanese stickers off asap, the car was made in america

anyways you want to ask about the service on the car, when the timing belt and water pump were replaced

also looks under the car for rust. it could be the original exhaust rusted away and the new aftermarket system is because the car has rusted away under neath it.

MOT is usually pretty rigorous but sometimes they dont check everything like they should. inspect under the car and suspension pieces for rust
