So I picked this 95 up for $200. The clutch gave and the previous owner did not want to do the work I guess. He included a bunch of free parts and a spare manual trans. Totally worth it. I'm going to restore it. You won't recognize it once I'm done.. Going to paint it black and rebuild back to stock. Just trying to save another 2g....

Gorgeous car

Crush it JK

I got a couple 1G's that are going to the crusher, if you wanna come save them during your charitable works.

Lol, I think I'll just do one at a time. I'm not that loving.....

Yeah, I think that was a little much. But whatever, you could probably scrap it for more than that.

I paid 200$ for a 90 gsx back in the day, no where near as complete as this LOL. I parted it out and made 500$ ontop of the original purchase price.

I'd say part it out and make some money.

Not a terrible find at all.

Holy exploding clutch, Batman! Good find though, I would part it out too. You could make $200 back easily...plus the cash from scrapping it!

Restoring that will be a money pit you won't climb out of, unless you can do ALL of the work yourself. Even then, it's a 420A, so it will cost you more in materials and parts to get it looking/running decent than you can ever hope to sell it for.
I'm not saying don't do it though.... just look at my car! :D I bought it as a bent valve special for cheap and am $3500 or so in the hole so far, and I'm no where near done with it. I'm paying to enjoy driving it. I will never get that money back out of it.

I have just about every single part to put it back together. Believe me, you won't recognize this car when I'm done and you will be amazed.... AND, I will only be spending maybe a couple hundred more bucks.... The only thing wrong as far as driving it is the trans. Motor is still good to go. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. I'll be doing everything myself.

It's quite annoying to see perfectly good cars scrapped. I especially detest all the people who buy up people's failed projects, part them out, and scrap them. And people wonder why prices go up and manufacturers stop making parts. I'm pretty sure Mitsubishi know when cars are scapped.

Do it up and post progress pics. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Will do, I'll be doing all the motor work here in the next weeks hopefully if weather permits. The majority of the bodywork will have to wait until spring/early summer. But it should be up and running ugly in a reasonable amount of time...

Well... that's why they call them projects. It's for people with too much time and no girl friend. Good luck it looks like a lot of work.

You're absolutely right LOL. No girlfriend, but wife LOL. I don't think it'll be that much work honestly. I've rebuilt several 420a's and this is almost routine anymore... :)
