need help on finding out what turbo i got

My buddy got me a (MHIT 05-12a) turbo for free and i been trying to do some research and i cant find out what turbo it is if anyone can help me figure this out let me know thanks.

Not sure what turbo it is but its very small. Compressor wheel looks chewed up also but it may just be the pic. If your lookin to turbo your 420a I would recommend going bigger.

ok i understand its small but i dont want to go bigger im only goin to put like 7-8 psi on it so thats why i got this one and i was goin to get it rebuilt

Are either of the wheels damaged? If so its not even worth rebuilding. Even though your only running low boost you would make more power with something a little bigger. I wouldn't go with anything smaller than a 14b or 16g. You can pick those up pretty cheap now days. Even at the same boost level the bigger the turbo the more power your going to make.

where can i get a manifold to fit them i can fine some that fit t3/t4?

I believe that is the turbo charger used on the Mitsubishi starion. Not sure what model it goes too but I am assuming it's a early 80's model. I think they had around 170hp without an intercooler. As for an exhaust manifold for it you will probably have to make something custom to make it usable for your 420.

Finding a dsm flange turbo manifold is difficult. So either get a t3 turbo or use a t3 to dsm adapter. Or you could cut the flange off and weld a new one on. Thats what I would do but not everyone can do this.
