ok this is my first time turboing a 420a and i am mechanically inclined im fixing to be in my second year in automotive school at a vo-tech and my stepdad owns a shop and all weve ever really done is muscle cars(he gets a few ricers in here that just want an exhaust and wing), but heres my question, i have most of my turbo setup hooked up and i was wondering where i hook my other oil line into (i have the feed going to the oil pan) and what do i hook my wastegate up to, and what do i hook my bov into(i have a good idea but i want to make sure).

You may be "mechanically inclined" but it seems like you're fairly new to turbo systems.

First of all, the oil feed line should go from the back of the block to the top port(smaller) turbo. The return line should come from the bottom port(larger) of the turbo. Feed line should have nothing to do with the oil pan.

As for the wastegate there will be a mounting bracket on the side with the actuator, which you bolt to the compressor housing of the turbo. The rod side will have a hole, you slide that hole around the peg on the exhaust side of the turbo and use the appropriate clip to hold it in place. For the actuator nipple, run a short hose from your compressor housing to it.

Honestly, with these questions it appears that you aren't ready to turbo. I would suggest reading over info through the 420a turbo conversion forum here, and www.2gnt.com. I don't want you to have ended up doing something wrong, and pay the price. Definitely not something to rush.

Yes your right i am pretty new to turbos and i appreciate your help and is there a specific spot on the back of the block that i hook that oil line up to?

The link is good, but the first block pictured is out of a 95, so it has the 2 circled areas in question. Yours however is a 97 so you will only have the far left plug. Which as stated, is the one you will tap into.

Scroll down to post 6 in this thread, it has a list of the hardware you need from Lowes or Home Depot to properly tap into the block.
