Alright, i have recently purchased an FMIC and bov, and i bought it with the previous owners speed density setup with an omni 4bar map sensor and an iat sensor. These two sensors are hooked up to an ecmlink speed density plug n play thing. I looked on their website and it seems that it is their expensive MAF SD plug n play kit. Unfortunately for me, i went and bought ceddy mods, my question is, is there any way to configure speed density with the ecmlink maf plug for the map sensor and iat sensor? PLEASE PLEASE let me know, otherwise i may have to sell this expensive plug. Also, can it be torn apart (the harness) to use the regular ceddymods sd way? thanks so much.
:hmm:

The regular SD ceddymods way utilizes the maf plug as well, so i am just wondering if this will work.

Unfortuneatly the plug n play will not work. Ecmlink uses the barometric pressure sensor as the signal for the map sensor. Ceddymods uses the stock MPD sensor harness as a signal. If i remember correctly tho, the omni 4 bar replaces the stock mpd sensor and plugs right in and bolts right up. The only splicing you should have to do is for the iat into the maf harness.

Yea thanks for the reply, but now that i realize that the omni 4 bar should plug right in, why shouldn't i be able to utilize the maf adapter plug with the IAT at the very least? Isn't that doing the splicing but using the maf plug instead of going straight to the ecu? Thanks for the help.

Yes you can utilize the sd cable to work with JUST the iat but IMHO its only two wires your splicing on the maf harness. I would sell the cable to get some money.
