ECUflash CeddyMod v1 (EcuFlash)

I didn't touch the settings. I emailed ceddy and he asked what I had disconnected and what not I told him, and he sent me the rom with those items set up that way.

My idle is lean with a slight idle surge when revving high or hard pull and coming to a stop, it bumps up twice and then settles down to idle rpm.

I haven't made any changes yet or tested anything cause I'm still in pieces right now.

Which items do you suggest switching back?

The only ones that I noticed that caused an "active" change were bits 03 and 11 in Periphery2, the ones related to O2 Heater Circuit.

I would confirm with ceddy their full functionality before changing them back, however we have slightly different setups and I am wondering if he has them off for a reason. Doesn't hurt to test on your own.

I turned these on and off with no ill effects other than crappy idle until I flashed back.

I just pulled my injectors for my upgraded ones and I was able to check the part numbers. They are indeed 680's why did I have scaling down to 509cc to get the wideband to match the target AFR under WOT?

Still no fuel trims :banghead:

I matched my settings identical to how your's are set up. What I did notice was that my O2Sensor voltage doesn't get to 0.9V like jeff24680's.

Are you babying it to get the trims to change?

I mean I had to really be easy on the throttle for mine to get the CEL for the trims. Basically cruise control style with no hills im in FL I can roll away with lite throttle.

I actually noticed that and I forgot to comment on it. Maybe someone with some more sensor knowledge can chime in on this. I know mine cycles from .1 to .9 like I supposed it should. Yours never seem to get above .6 though.

Also I didn't not have to baby the car to much driving around town to get the trims to update, no full throttle is pretty much all you need to do to keep the car in "learn" mode.

I think my rear O2 is dead and I have no intentions of replacing it, when I try to log it the status is 0V. With all the changes to the injector latencies I've made, I've lost about 50 WHP.

I'm done with scaling the injectors and I'm flashing back to my highest HP tune. Pretty much back to the basics, tuning for AFR's and zero knock.

So turn off closed loop and tune for what you need as well as tuning for a 15.2:1 AFR for cruising so that you get better gas mileage.

Yep, in progress. I've got closed loop off, most of the emissions off and I'm tuning for 15.1:1 AFR. Should have just left it as is before going down this fuel trim rabbit hole because I was making good power back then. :ohdamn:

Tried to do it the recommended way, but as they say there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Proper injector latencies and scaling are important for predictable tuning. Don't give up on that but there is more than one way to deal with dialing in injectors. If you're o2 sensor was dieing then I have no doubt that you had a lot of issues with trying to scale them by fuel trims.

Starting to finish everything up for a version 1.9 public release.

Have already finished new .xml for 2.7+ versions of EvoScan.

Would some one be willing to test the OpenPort 2.0 Stand Alone logging if I make a configuration file for it???

(Stand Alone logging is a new feature where the Open Port 2.0 logs to a SD Card without having to be connected to a computer, if you haven't heard about it yet.)

I started a thread awhile back that I was looking for someone to write the file. I will test it out when my car back up again.

To make a longer story short the kids next door stole my water/meth injection kit and 2 slim fans off my porch after UPS dropped it off. All within 10 mins of getting delivered at my door, I should have been quicker I guess. But now I have to wait for them to ship me all my stuff over again and still have to install it all when it gets here.

I also have new Lucas 1200cc injectors on the way. Anyone have Scaling and Battery voltage tables numbers for these?

I was searching eBay tonight looking for omni sensors for SD and I came across a guy in my town selling them on eBay at a good price. I put a email into him to see if I could get a group buy going or if I could get us all good prices. He seems to carry all omni products PnP and GM ones are cheaper.

If you guys are interested let me know so maybe I can give him a number of how many I might get. I'll try my best to work something out with the owner.

I was looking at getting the PnP Omni 4bar $115 shipped which is a nice price. GM 3bar $50

I'll give it a try.

The MUT2 StandAlone Logging seems to have a issue if you are logging more then 38 items. I sent Colby at Tactrix the info. Other wise the logging is very nice.

The only issue I see us running into is its Triggering(Turning On/Off).

I have it on the A/C Switch, because I have no A/C. But people with A/C this isn't an option.

I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no, but I know in the Subaru world they can initiate logging using the rear defroster. Is there anyway we can do the same?

No, the only switch we have connected to the ecu is A/C.

You can have it trigger by TPS, RPM, Knock, etc. But having a simple On/Off switch is nice.

I've been getting a CEL for the throttle position sensor. I never had a CEL with the Evo 8 ECU that I ran since last fall.

Mitsu did a Recall/Reflash in 2003 for all 98-99 DSM and 3000GT/Stealths, on a customer complaint basis for TPS Failure Misjudgement.

If the CEL you are getting is "TPS Failure" or something its a known bug in Mitsu's code. I would just turn the CEL off in the Periphery bits.

I don't see it listed, and I already have pretty much all the periphery's @ 0.

I think it says "throttle position system malfunction" or something, but my TPS reads perfect and doesn't do anything weird ever. It came on when I was at about 1/2 throttle; I don't know if it wasn't expecting that high of airflow at that low of a throttle angle or what.

Do you remember the CEL number?

I should be able to backtrack it in the code if its not listed in the Periphery.

I'm not sure of the testing conditions, but it is a known "bug", that many of the 98-00 Mitsu ecus have. Replacing the TPS will have no effect, you will still get the code.

I need more help setting up the speed density. I don't really understand what to do here. I have my sensors installed now what?

Basically with the MAF still hooked up, you log MAF AirCnts and SD AirCnts.

MAF AirCnts is the raw signal from the MAF.

SD AirCnts is our emulated signal from MAP and VE data.

You need to adjust the VE maps so MAF and SD AirCnts always match.

I'll have to find the 4 BAR sensor scaling and send to you, it is set up to use the 3 BAR by default.

Anyone know of a good way to tune out the bov vent to atm without going to SD? I am going to transition sometime shortly, but for now after i get my car running, it will be running the maf. Unless someone has a good flash for a 20g on e85.
