wow this is back to moto's post about the 800 lbs... thats just crazy, its much too bad how much it woudl cost for all that, i figures some where around 4000 us bucks? well it might be cost efficent like with the same 4000 could you make enoough power to over come the wight... intersting?

anyone know the weight difference between say 2 cf doors and a cf hatch compared to 2 fg doors and a fg hatch, because the price is way different

prolly not much....a fiberglass hood is about as heavy as a CF one so i wouldn't sa ymuch....on the otherhand carbon fiber just looks good....sexy imho

yes it does, if i were rich , I would get every body panel squidskins offers(which is all of them exept roof) in cf. it would look awesome like the track attack altezza or that bad ass golf

I saw a CF trunk on a WRX on saturday. It was cool. I may have to buy some CF body parts. Hell a good paint job is the cost of alot of these peices.

They dont sell the quarter panels either. I was gonna get the CF hatch and hood from them about 4 months ago, but now everyone knows about them so Im not gonna bother. I was gonna blow all that money on the CF hatch just to be unique, but now would be pointless

I'm not big on cosmetic CF, otherwise known as carbon-graphite. I'd prefer a straight Carbon weave because it weighs less and is more structurally sound, besides the fact that it costs less.

i want a carbon fiber golf....i shoulda kept mine nad made it carbon fiber
