Carbon Fiber Hatch. [Merged 9-6]

Can someone elaborate the procedure involved for mounting the stock 2g hatch glass on a cf hatch? Is a glue used? How hard was it? Any sealing issues with rain? Any issues with flexing or sagging?

I went to an auto window place and they took my window and put new weather stripping around it then placed this black glue on the hatch where the window sits in. They they placed the window on the hatch and put blue painters tape around it and I left it on there for a few hours while it dried. I have had my cf hatch on for 15 months now and have never had a problem with it.

Is the harness to unhook the wiring on a 2g hatch in the interior? I was trying to mount my new CF hatch and I rushed into it, only to have a half way hanging off hatch and couldn't figure out how to disconnect the harness. I'm assuming there is a removable harness either in the headliner, or under the plastic panel on the drivers side?

Also, how are you guys mounting your hatch struts?

thats a very good question, one which I have not found the answer yet. I might try to fab somthing up, if I do I will post it here.
