Well, its been over a year since the car (90 talon TSI) has been running, skipped tooth and bent the valves. I replaced a long list of parts, head, cams, belt water pump, catch can, springs and retainers, lifters, hoses, and vacuum lines eliminated. Anyway today i made my first attempt to turn key, and the car cranks, and trys to turn and i read 40+ fuel pressure but it wont turn. I double checked even triple checked my timing before today, and I felt I did a thorough job on the vacuum removal. If anyone has a suggestion or idea that could help it would be appriciated.

sounds like a similiar problem that i had. recheck timing and do a compression test and a leak test and that should point you in the right direction.

I just checked for spark with an inline bulb between the sparkplug and the plug. The first crank gets a spark, but after that nothing. 1-4 all the same. So i checked the coil pack resistance 1 to 4 and 3 to 2, they all checked out fine at 12k ohms, i checked the sparkplug wire too and they all were less than 9k. spark i believe is the sole problem. Any knowledgable advice on coil packs?
