I have spark, comprssion, and fuel. Just replaced my coolant temp sensor, ecu, fuel pump and still nothing. it was running fine but the longer i let it sit the harder it was to start i had to use starting fluid but doesnt work anymore. PLEASE HELP :banghead:

First of all dont use starting fluid on an engine. Next we need more details as to what its doing.

took the hose off going to my fuel rain and i got fuel coming out. tested my spark wires by grounding them and i got spark in all 4. used a compression test and came out to specs as it says in the chilton.

Have you checked engine timing? You have fuel to the rail but are the injectors firing? What do the plugs look like? If they are soaked with fuel, then you done have proper spark, if they are dry as a bone then you don't have fuel into the combustion chamber.

yeah i will crank it but when i pull the plugs they have gas all over them and i have to get the gas off.

i was driving it for awhile but it just gradually got harder and harder to start but when i would shut it off and start it right back it it would be fine but if it sat overnight it would almost be impossible to start but now it wont even come close to starting:banghead:

hows the gap on the spark plugs? its not ignighting the fuel so maybe replace spark plugs.

yup timing is right on i checked it about 20 times

i tried to use the volt meter on my diagnostics port and all i get is constant long strokes on the needle

well like someone else said, you cant have fuel compression and spark.

you may have fuel but do you have enough pressure ???

you may have spark but is there enough Kv ???

you need a fuel pressure gauge and something to make sure your spark is hot enough.

New plugs and wires, new fuel filter, and more info please!!!!
Your not getting spark if the injectors are wet and it won't fire up. Check plug order as well. You said compression and timing is spot on so that should be good. Plugs have fuel so your good there. Last thing you need is the spark. So start from closest to the motor (plugs) and work your way back.

Exactly what is your compression? When you hooked up the compression tester hose, what were the numbers for each cylinder?

Get a proper fuel pressure tester. They're like $10 at Harbor Freight. The way you described testing fuel pressure is the farmer's method.

Double triple check your plug wires. Make sure they are going from the correct outlets on the coil pack to the proper plugs.
You also said the plugs are dripping with fuel when you remove them, if this is the case, they probably aren't even firing, so you won't have proper spark.

when i ground the plug wire to a bolt on the struts it sparks but its kinda hard to see and has to be really close. could this mean i dont have enough spark?
