car is acting stupid help

my 94 talon es chugs and jerks in 3rd and 4th when im not hitting gas. any thoughts of what it could be? and it idles reall high at like 2k

It could be a number of things. Idle air control valve, biss screw gasket, improper spark plug gap, spark plug wires, thats all just for starters.

When was the last time you change the fuel filter? checked your spark plugs, spark plug wires ect. Check the most common stuff first. Most problems like that are due to lack of maint. Always start checking the easy stuff first ok.

I would recomend that you check your plugs, wirs make sure you have everything in the right fireing order check your coil pack and see if and of the simple fixes will make it work a litle better.
