Car Does not Start

My friend was drving his car,90 talon tsi awd, and he says he was drving along and his car just quit, Well we have checked out a few things but still wont start. its getting fuel, spark, cranks over, timing belt is good etc, but the injectors are not turing on. whats the first things to check to get them working again. will parts from a 91 fit, like cam angle sensor etc?

injector tester and set up a fuel pressure guage. Do an injector balance test. If you dont know how to do this find a friend who may. I think there are specs in the factory service manual also

make sure the coolant sensors are all connected and or gettin a connection on the T-stat housing cause the car wont start with some of them disconnected no matter what. you said your gettin spark and fuel so that could be a possible issue along with a CAS (iv had both of these issue's a year or 2 back and it took me awhile to figure it out ) if you are not sure your injecitors are firing (as you said)pull the fuel rail and have someone crank it while u look to see if they all fire (its a bit messy but if you have no othe way to tell oh well)
