I just upgraded the turbo to a 20g and I cannot get past 12.3psi 1st &2nd gears and past 13.5 there after.

The weird thing is that I got a greddy profect-b 2 set at 20 psi and I have not got a vacuum or charge pipe leak.
I tried to do a run at unlimited boost and still the same dilemma.
I was wondering if some one has any experience using this particular boost controller.

check and make sure ## ebc is hooked up right. also make sure that ## mechanical boost gaueg is not kinked or leaking(this could give u a flase boost reading).

if its hooked up correctly I do not see how that is possible. But then I looked at your profile. It says everything is stock? Question do you have a stock BOV? of so it could be blowing open and not allowing you to run extra boost. Also before you hurt your car. you might want to upgrade a few more things before attempting to run higher boost on a 20G. IE please fill out your profile!! Then we may be of more help.

Make sure its connected right. The point of the EBC is to bypass the boost sensor. I have heard of a piece in the sensor that if your remove, you actually gain a pound or 2. But anyways, make sure. And change that BOV if you haven't already. That plastic PIECE OF SH!T couldnt hold anything past stock if its Rubermaid life depended on it.

OK well I agree with all of you about the BOV, now the other thing that i was noticing is that the boost takes for ever to get up there. at 4 to5000 RPM I'm verily at like 10 lbs and it slowly gets to 13 lbs at 7000 rpm, know do you guys think it is also because of that bov leakin.

here are some pics of my set up.

Well, first without proper fuel tuning with injectors 13.5 psi on a 20g is good. you will need upgrade your fuel(pump, regulator, injectors) bov, intercooler (atleast) in order to boost over 14 on a 20g.

a exhaust leak before turbo can cause low boost as well a VERY slow turbo response. Looking at your set up I see a dark spot forming on the top inside of the compressor housing. Is the mani to turbo leaking? guess that adapeter is welded on with my guess? Weld not sealing correctly? (hope it does not look like you o2 housing).

I also see from your picture that you have atleast 1 head to mani nut missing (the stud is there in the middle with no nut). with the engine cold start the car up and feel around for exhaust leask before the mani and turbo get hot. you can also hear them. the leak could sound like a whistle (very small pin leak when cold) or you can hear each pulse of exhaust on a bigger leak.

ummm your running an internal wastegate with the WG port blocked off by the 02 housing?

and a T3 flange welded onto a stock 1g flange??

what the heck are you doing to your car kid?

Oh, man, I did not even see that...
20g is a very powerfull turbo you need to support it, internal wastegate is fine, as I have one, but blocked off is a nono.

that hole thats welded up... thats where the wg is suppose to connect to the exhaust..

although i havent ever really seen the way a T3 internal gate exhaust side looks like but looks blocked to me...

looks blocked but is not. That looks like the hanh "super" 20G. The exhaust housing looks retarded. I seen one a 420a and thought the same thing till the guy blew his engine and we took it off. There is a weird channel in there. I can not find a pic of the exhaust housing but If I do I will post it up here. But here is his turbo.

edit found it, the picture is small so you need to use some editing service and enlarge it.

http://www.hahnracecraft.com/hahn/images/2gturbo.jpg look EXCATLY the same. I still think the flow as well as a 1" tweeter in a sub box, but that my opnion.

If he wastegate was indeed blocked maybe he could run some descent boost. not low boost.

wow thats funky... another reason not to buy hahn ! :)

my friends hahn super 16g lasted like 2-3k miles and now it shoots oil outa the turbo....

Ok well the problem was the stock BOV wich wasn't leting me go past 13.5 lbs. LIKE YOU GUYS MENTIONED. I modified it and it pulled hard, thanks for every ones help.
By the way the turbo was upgraded with a 57 trim comp wheel, so know the thing with AWD not having top end I think this upgrade iliminated that. but i'll figure out that tonight when I rave my friends GS-T at the same level of PSI. hes runing a a t3/t4 set up with ext waste gate wich was also purchased at MJtuboshop. so i'll let you guys know how that came out.

dude do you have any other upgrades besides that turbo on there?
Well the first upgrade that I did in the car was a turbo back 3" exhaust. I intentionally upgraded the turbo second to see how much of a gain I get with every step of my upgrade path.

Next I'm going to upgrade my fuel delivery, I got 550 inj and I'm currently looking for a S-AFC, and fuel pump.
