to make a long story short...bought car that previously over heated and wasnt running.
compression test showed low compression. had head completely rebuild and put new head gasket on obv. compression is good all the way across now, new plugs, new wires. it sorta runs if u hold down the gas but not well.

after running i pulled out the new plugs, and 1, and 2 were black and 3 and 4 looked white/brand new, making me believe its only running on 1 and 2....

i had the cam sensor installed backwards at first(connector up) but putting it on the other way makes no difference...

fuel pressure is good when cranking and running

coil should be good as 1, 4 and 2,3 fire together, and im firing on 1 and 2...

whats my problem?

I"m gonna take a wild guess and say timing on this one....secondly, Unplug and replug in that cam angle sensor, (same with the crank angle sensor if you tampered with it during the build) you'd be surprised how it can magically just not be clicked in all the way.

And lasty do you remember your comopression numbers before and after the head rebuild?

tried pluggin/unplugging the cas, no difference, it wont run at all without it unplugged.
compression before was about 80,80,130,190...head bolts were really loose too
now compression is about 190ish across the board when cold

if timing was off wouldnt the compression be off? im pretty sure i got the belt right on

ill try unplugging the cps and plugging it back in
