Can I swap a 4G63t motor in my car?

I know everyone asks this and I know you can but need major fabrications. But I was wondering if anyone has done it lately with no problems

a swap is going to cost a are and a leg. u are going to pay more for the swap than a already turbo dsm. its not even worth it.

All I have to say is, by the time you are done with this project, you could have gotten a GST or GSX for the money you have spent.

motor 500 to 1500 depends what setup
turbo 25-1200 depends what u like
headers 25- 500
injectors 40- 400
fuel pump 100
trans 200-1000
fuel control up to 3000
lots of custom fabed parts and lots or wire spliceing
and the list goes on if u want a turbo sell ## car can get a turbo dsm for next to nothing these days if u look in the right places.

its quite difficult and not very money wise. a local fabricator here just converted an extra gs that he had to a gsx. he had a wrecked donor car, free time, and hes can weld like a champ. he said it was still a headache.

Find a 1g AWD. I love my laser, in my mind the best DSM's.
Lighter than 2g's, 6 bolt block so no crankwalk, the 5 speed comes with a 14b turbo which people have taken to almost 20psi, you can run 15psi with nothing more than an MBC and a gauge. That's the car you want. Plus, you would probably break even if your car is in good shape.

Yeah I had a 92 Tsi fwd for a while but had to sell it cause insurance was too much for both cars. Such a fun car though. Loved it. I'm trying to sell my GS right Now

Tried going down that path. Couldn't save the money for it. It's not worth it
