Is it safe to put the oil feed line on the head for an older fp green? I have a forward facing oil filter housing with only one outlet and id like to keep my oil psi sender there, slso does anyone no what sandwich adaptor to use with my filter housing thanks

You could put a T on the ofh. It seems like I've seen a green ran that way but I'm fairly certain it had an oil filter on it

By OEM design, the Green would favor being fed from the head.

However, FP uses a steel thrust plate with two oiling holes in their DSM Green and Red turbos; the second hole can cause more of a parasitic drain on cartridge pressure than the factory thrust plate with only one hole. It is *recommended* that you feed this turbo from the filter housing with a .075" restrictor in the line to bring the cartridge pressure back up without fear of over-oiling the turbo.

If you have the balance shafts removed from your engine and the oil pressure relief valve hole is not ported, you'll probably be fine feeding the turbo from the head regardless as no balance shafts and an unported filter housing can raise the oil pressure throughout the engine.

Yes i do have the balance shafts deleted, and it has an un ported forward facing oil filter housing, should i put a restrictor on the head or just plumb my 1/ npt oil feed line into that plug on the left front corner of the head, also i have an older green, it was just rebuilt by fp non hta:coy:
