my check engine light comes on cuz of my cam shaft position sensor... what can be causing this?

possibly - your cam angle sensor is fryed ? or unplug'd ?
Get a chiltons and read how to verify that its shot.
Ive got a 97-99 one for sale if ya end up needing one.

Ok, my car just a little while back died while i was leaving my driveway. I towed it to the shop and they told me that that sensor was also out on my car. They put in a new one and it died again. After a second check on my car they found that it was my ECU that was causing all the troubles... for some reason in was shorting out my sensor. Maybe its the same for your car, its worth checking into :thumb:
