I need to get new carrier bearings for my 92 TSI. I know about the silicone fix but I want to do it right.

Any one know where to buy them? Seems like an odd part that might not be easy to find.

Thanks, Bobby.

This is what I did when I replaced my carrier bearings. The bearing has a p/n on it. Take bearing out, find part number, substitute the last number/letter for a "J", and then get on www.local.google.com and type in "bearing" or something else to find a bearing distributer near you. If no one is near, then places will ship to you. Also try Smyth Automotive or Advance. Or any other local parts place. Some have them some don't. You could even ask them for a bearing part number. Bearings shouldn't cost more than $25 each, max.

Good luck, and if you need a bit more help, let me know, maybe I can help.
