Sault Ste Marie,
I know I must sound annoying but here it goes..
I just did some basics on the car.. harmonic balancer, access belt, changed oil, new tensioner belt.

I had my engine light come on, since I just got exhaust work, I assumed it was the ecu, so I reset the battery, and it fixed the problem, but now it seems to be running a lil slower.

What's a good chip to buy? I see a bunch of really cheap chips on ebay, but 12 bucks for a 20-40 horsepower gain sounds too good to be true..
I'm looking to get an turbo manifold (or port it) intercooler, dsmlink.. and a chip.. any suggestions?

I'm lowered on tokico struts, ebachi coil overs.
turbosmart manual boost controller, 2.5" exhaust from turbo back (straight pipe), and a 16g turbo.

You need to do some research. How long since you reset the battery? The ECU goes through a "learn" cycle after it loses power. Pretty much all "chips" on ebay are a resistor on a circuit board, guaranteed to give you 40 horsepower....sure. You have a 95, so there's a decent chance you have an EPROM, so that opens up either DSMLink or a Keydriver chip. Notice the "either...or"? You either get a chip, or DSMLink, not both. A keydriver is much less user intensive, i.e. plug and play, whereas the DSMLink will take more setup, but it isn't incredibly difficult. Also, before you go get engine management and an intercooler and such, you need to get larger injectors if you don't already, especially on a 16G.

Don't mess with those ebay hp chips. They are a complete rip off, and not really tested to be vehicle specific. They are basically just resistors that try to change your fuel map as far as I know. If that much HP was available for that cheap, we'd all have them sir. The phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. As far as the manifold goes, if your trying for streetable levels of power, the SBR evo III manifold would work great. If your looking to go bigger though I'd say look into an equal length runner design. Just some thoughts. Good luck on your build.

Thank you both very much, I ordered a dsm link, im so new to this, so I'm sure someone will be hearing from me soon.. what size injectors should I get??

Sorry, what is better though?? a keydriver or just get a dsmlink with a labtop?? i wouldnt know how to tune my car worth crap, ### help.

your getting ahead of your self, like sliverbullit said get that cel fixed then figure out what ecu you have then buy a set of injectors probley like 750's and tell dsmlink ppl what size you go with when you send it in to get socketed, so they can set up your defaults.
