MY car has no heatsheilds and I noticed there is a cable coming out of something, I Dont know what it is, its kinda attached to end of the turbo charger on the right side and it connects to something on like the left side of the engine.

And since the engine primer has all that crap covered by the heat shields, I have no idea what it is.

This is the wire your talking about right?

What happens when something is wrong with those wires, because the idiot before me took of the heat shields and the thing is resting on some hot stuff, the thick black rubber is gone and you can see the coloured wires.

I guess the O2 sensor isn't being read by the ECU if the wires are damaged...does your car bog and run rich? Might wanna replace the wire(s) and get some heat shields...their there for a reason!

if ya can still see the colors of the wires then there not burnt all the way thru. im sure its fine. just move them off the mani

Question. I've seen people running without heat shields. Where do they put the wires?

A lot of people run it behind the turbo, under the exhaust manifold. You can ziptie it to the metal water pipe to secure it.
