Was doing a pull from a 20mph roll and started hearing a clunking noise. I let off and babied the car home. The following day I went to jack the car up and placed it on jack stands. I already had a idea that my torque converter bolts may have back out. As I spun the crank over and started to verify that the bolts were indeed tight...... I noticed the flexplate was broken. Great I thought... I knew the stock flex plate was the weak link but I didnt know how much power these things can handle. At the moment I am unaware of my power level.. I am pushing 30psi of boost on a 10.5CR built 7 bolt. I heard the Kiggly is in the process of releasing a 7 bolt flex plate so I am excited about that.. just waiting on them to let me know where to send the $$$

same here I NEED kingly to come out with a 7 bolt flex plate. I don't want to use this stock one.

Just run duel flexplates...No one has broken a duel plate setup to my knowledge...7-bolt people like me have no other choice anyway...
The parts you need are two flexplate for your year car, one extra starter plate, longer flexplate bolts....

Why do you need a extra starter plate? We do have a option now.. kiggly is fixing to release his flex plate for the 7 bolt any day now... its quite a nice peice...

A 2nd starter plate is added when running 2 flexplates to keep the pump spacing correct....

Hopefully this 7 bolt flexplate will work for 93-94 1g cars too..The converter bolt spacing is different from the 2g 7 bolt and the 1g 7 bolt...

You don't have a 7 bolt option till its actually available... :p

would be nice to have it on the market. Its like extra insurance. Id rather overbuild than under.

Are the Kiggly 7-bolt flexplates not yet available?

I have a buddy already running one, and I also saw one at Kiggly's booth at the Shootout. I assumed they were ready for purchase.

Im surprised there not on sale yet. Its a great looking flexplate...bolts right up with no issues... Ask me how i know... Sneaky.. Sneaky....LOL

Btw... No extra starter plate needed :)
