Can anyone instruct me on how to fix this?
I have to pump the brake pedal when i turn the car off so they turn off so i'm gueesing it's something behind the brake pedal.

Please be as specific as possible in instructions since i don't know much about cars.

Have you tried the obvious things first? Is the brake fluid at an appropriate level? If so, there could be a multitude of problems ranging from a bad sensor to leaky lines or calipers. I'll need more information to make a better diagnosis.

If not brake fluid level, check the brake switch on the pedal for correct adjustment. When you turn the car off and the brake lights are still on, try pulling up on the brake pedal. If they go off, the switch position needs adjustment (loosen nuts, push switch a little closer to the floor, tighten nuts).
