Lights stay on?

For some reason, when I turn the lights on and then turn them off, the headlights stay on for a good while. I'm not too sure why. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on this. It's a 98 and a new dsm for me after getting rid of the last one. Thanks.

Have you checked the light switch on the steering wheel column, sounds to me like the headlight switch might be bad.

Nope. What to check? The tail lights go off but I still have power going to the head lights and the fog lights. Had to pull the big fuse under the hood last night to kill it. That'll get old though. And for some reason, the radio and dash lights don't work. Moron had 30 amp fuses in the place of the 10 amp fuses that was suppose to be there.
