Today I tried to test for boost leaks for the first time and I connected a rubber hose to the turbo intake with a pvc cap and a valve stem I. It. But I tried to pressurize to 20 PSI and it wouldn’t hold whatsoever. I sprayed any possible leak sites with soapy water such as all boost hoses, TB, intake manifold, intercooler and couldn’t find any leaks. I thought the intake and exhaust valves may be open at the same time so I turned over the engine with the same result

Not trying to be insulting or silly; it will take a little time for the system to pressurize to 20psi, just like it takes time to fill a tire. Have you held the valve long enough to pressurize it? I have a compressor that lets me vary the output pressure, so I just lock the fill hose on the valve stem and start spraying the joints...

I held it for quite a while and it didn’t pressurize. But after a while I found that my turbo to intercooler piper was completely split causing a leak so big that yo couldn’t hear it come out

Congratz, You found your first leak. Very possible it's not the only one.

Hahaha, I found just a few😬 on my Throttle body, there’s a leak coming out of the hole circled in the pic. What is that?

The o-ring around the screw has likely turned into dust. Good thing is it looks like one of the original metal BISS screws instead of the later plastic ones the strip out when you put a screwdriver on them.

The caps always seem to vanish as well.
