Boost leak test oil bubbling suddenly

My car has been parked for a while because I'm in the works of fixing boost leaks, and I'm waiting on parts I've ordered.

I was testing fine from the turbo inlet for the first couple days it was parked, but all of the sudden, I test it now and hear hissing coming from the intake mani. area, and I'm hearing bubbling in the oil. Not feeding any more than 15 psi.

PCV hose is disconnected and plugged.

I understand that this may be a common problem with testing from the turbo inlet, but what I'm wondering is, why the sudden change?

I was thinking maybe since I've had it parked for almost a month the oil has completly drained out of the turbo, letting air slip by the seals and out through the return line.

What do you guys think?

It's definitely possible. With the pcv blocked the only way you could pressurize the crankcase is past the turbo seals or past the rings. I'd lay off until I started the car back up and got it up to temp. Probably not going to hurt anything now, but not going to help anything either.

Okay, I'm gonna go put her back together right now.

I just modified my tester so I can just test from the LICP instead. Although, testing from the inlet would be ideal..
