Car and mod list: 95 gsx with injen intake, dejon tool uic "L" pipe, 1g crushed bov, and boost gauge. I just put my uicp and 1g bov on yesterday, and ever since I have noticed an extremely loud whistle coming out of my intake pipe after the rpms drop (even in neutral) whenever I rev it. At first I thought it was just a boost leak, but then I wondered why I was hearing it come from the intake pipe (right at the air filter)?! I've held my ear RIGHT up against the intake while I revved the engine and let the rpms drop, and it's definitely coming from that intake, not the intercooler piping/couplers. This really just doesn't make sense to me, so I'm just confused out of my pants right now, someone help  Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Agreed, sounds like your bov just venting a little air back into the intake and that is what you are hearing. But I'd say do a boost leak test anyway because leaks are so common and I'd say a big number of people out there are running with leaks right now and don't even know it. I always check my car for leaks because they seem to pop up about as much as oil leaks seem to!
