boost leak maybe?

hey i just got my laser out of the shop had a new timing belt but on.When i drove it home, i got on it a bit and noticed that 1 and 2 when past 3,or 4 grand it would stall a little bit like it hit a rev limit it seemd like it wouldint boost but when in third it was great??? i was told it is a boost leak. somthing that my help is that one of my injector plugs is broken,just the clip it only runs bad when it pops off then i just put it back on. Im working on getting it fixed just cant find it??? I am sure it was on on the way home it was running on all four cylinders.thanks guys.

Please use spell check and proper grammer (after straining eyes). Well, if you haven't even done a boost leak, I would suggest doing one. Have you turned up your boost at all? If so, you may be hitting fuel cut as well.

yea ive been having the same problem for a few weeks, it feels like im hitting fuel cut for a second and then its gone. im pretty sure it's a boost leak.

The other day i was talking to a friend of mine and he mentioned a way to find a boost leak is by using starting fluid I thought that was a pretty interesting idea.

You can do that, but it's not exactly smart to do. Also it destroys o rings. Just pressurize the system and spray soapy water and look for bubbles. Safer and you can clean your parts at the same time. Plus you will find the exact location of the leak unlike starter fluid.
