bolt extraction

I was pulling one of my camshafts out and the head of the bolt snapped right off (one of the bearing cap bolts) but it's down in the hole so vice-grips wont work. I tried drilling down into it and using a jank little extractor from the local farm-mart but it wouldnt grip the bolt once i started turning the extractor. Any tips or ideas?

did you drill the whole far enough in...dont go too far but you need a good 1/4 inch....if not then you will have to take it to a machine shop if you cant get it out...and you want to use an easy out bolt extractor

EZ-out Its the way to go! They have saved me a bunch of times, like the time I snapped a pressure plate bolt off in my new fidanza flywheel.....
