blinking check engine light

I took my car to get a pioneer in dash dvd installed and since then when I put my turn signals on the lights inside the dash, like the check engine light will also begin to blink does anyone have any idea why.

Sounds like they got your dvd power and/or ground hooked up to the wrong place. What happens when you unplug it?

im not sure i have not tried it, but if i do what shoul happen?

Well if you unplug (disconnect) your dvd and things work properly, then you know they hooked up the dvd wrong (then take it back there).
