Bigger Brakes

Hi i have a 92 laser rs awd and i want to know if the bigger calipers from a 93 would fit on my 92 with the single piston calipers without any modifications?

Actully your lazer should be the 2 piston calipers I thought. The 89-91's where the only single piston. Atleast this is what I always thought was right.

Mines A 92 But The Build Date Is 9/91 So Will The Rear Calipers Fit From Other Years?

You can make anything work with enough parts. Worst case you have to change the whole spindle. Go junk yard hunting, they already have the wheels off.

The dual piston calipers were introduced on the '93 AWD cars.

I would have to check CAPS but I don't remember the rear calipers changing after the '90/'91 changes on the 1G AWD cars.

You don't touch the rear brakes except to put new rotors and pads on as needed.

I do need to touch my rear calipers though, they need to be replaced, so i was wondering if the rears are all the same or not i think the one im taking them off of is a 93 but i figured i would upgrade the fronts to dual pistons while i was in the back, the fronts are actually fine i really only need the back ones.

Honestly I don't know 100%. I know they are similar a simple look should tell you.

Sorry, that wasn't clear from your postings.

I double checked CAPS and like I remembered, the rear calipers on the AWD cars are the same from MY91 through MY94 so you can swap over the ones from the 93 to your car directly.
