I was able to get some EVO injectors for cheap ($120 shipped). They work great, I'd highly recommend them!

im buying a big 16g what size injectors would be good to get?

evo 560cc are great for under 300 hp and are cheaper. make sure you tune it somehow. i slapped on 560cc injectors without tuning my afc, runs shitty. fuel i'd say 560cc and 190 fuel pump. unless you want over 300 whp, dsmlink and 850cc+ with wally 255 and afpr.

my last set up is 16g/fmiv/560cc/190 pump/exhaust tune on afc, made 265 whp/269 trq.

if i went with 750 that wouldnt be to much would it

usually tuning with afc, 750 will be hard for tuning. usually 550 and 650 are best for afc tuning on our dsm.

what are you tuning with? afc, dsmlink, wideband, pocketlogger,ect......
any fuel pump? if not i'd get that first. 190 wally w/out afpr or 255 wally w/afpr.

just a slap on bigger inj. without any tuning will be a disaster. i did that and it sputter after 3k rpm all the way. can't even go into boost. leading to detonation.

I'm with spyder on this. You need to have the ability to tune what ever you go with. Your 750cc idea is doable, you just may start to see timing issues if useing only an afc to tune. With no tuning options however I'd say get your injectors and hold off on putting them in until you can tune it.

Great question. I looked in your profile and it doesn't mention any type of tuning device or fuel pump/rewire. Without those you will be headed for disaster just installing a bigger turbo and bigger injectors. Hope this helps!

evo 560's with my big16g, my idled almost perfect with no adjustments to my safc. Real good upgrades for the money, and easy to dial in. Almost like they were made for eachother. HAHA

i have rewired my stock feul pump. im just trying to get a list of parts going so i now what to buy im getting ready to buy a 255 walbro fuel pump. will i need a AFPR? i was just wandering if i would get of 750 would that be two much? as for tunning i really havent decide.

you are going to need an AFPR with a 255. A 190 can be paired with the stock AFPR just fine, but 255 will be a headache without a new one. What are your plans with the 16g? I read some of the previous posts and none mentioned your plans for the car/turbo. If you want to run around 20 psi for a DD your choice of 750 will be overkill. 560's and a 190 will be plenty for fuel delivery. It will run great as well, and you will be able to dial in some efficient settings with an SAFC. Good luck man! Keep us posted!

Yes you will need an AFPR with a 255lph as it will over run the factory FPR. If you get a 190lph you should be fine without the AFPR though. 750 could be fine but 650-680 sounds better, it depends on what you are going to use to tune. Your tuning device should be your first choice though.

Also you are going about your build a little backwards. Check the 2g upgrade path for a good idea on the order you should upgrade before you spend a bunch of money.

Hope this helps!

Th 190 would be good with no afpr. If you're going for the 300hp mark for sure I'd do the 650-680cc idea to give yourself a little more room to adjust. This should work fine with the Apex'i tuning idea. Hereitcomes hit the nail on the head. You need to have an ultimate goal in mind so you can lay out a plan to follow and know your budget. 9!'clipse also pointed out the upgrade path which you should really take a good look at. It's not written in stone, but is a very good idea to startyou on your way. Happy tuning.

so with 560's and a 190. i will not need a afpr right? i can use a safc to tune it. for boost i was thinking about 18-20PSI. would this hit my 300 hp goal?

18-20psi...you might get it away with 560s but on pump gas. more boost equals more fuel. but see you'll have to log it to see timing and knock also wideband for airfuel ratio, if going with safc. it all depends on what you are using to tune your car to get to 300hp.

What kind of A/F are you seeing with that Redeye? Any knock being logged?

I get phantom knock randomly, but besides that none. I have a walbro 190 not rewired. Last time I did a pull I was at .76 volts so I added 2% of fuel in those rpms and got it at .84 volts. I use my datalogger instead of a wideband.

Running 18 lbs of boost that creeps to 21 lbs by 4k rpms
Safc is at almost -22% across the board. Anything else LMK.
