2G Best turbo manifold?

I have a 97 eclipse gsx all stock except punishment racing o2 housing and 3 in downpipe (no cat) and thermal r&d catback. What is the best turbo manifold I can get that will bolt on to the stock turbo (t25). Also it is for autocross.

ok so let me get this straight, Should i just stay with the stock manifold? If you had the stock turbo would you put in the FP mani if it were free and your stock one is in perfect condition? If i stay with the stock manifold would porting

it won't make any difference on a t25. You can port to your hearts desire and it's only going to change the curve in the power band, it's not going to change peak horse power.

You can use the search function to find all of this info, including dyno graphs and flow charts. There isn't any gain in one manifold over another until you really start pushing a big turbo at high rpms.

If it's free take it and hold out til you upgrade your turbo. It will also make your future swap much easier by removing/installing the turbo and manifold as one.
And to answer your original question, I don't recommend using the FP with a t25. During the course of my motor/turbo swap there were a few days I ran that combo and I noticed a bit of lag that I didn't have with the old POS welded in three places stock 2g mani. I originally thought it was another problem (specifically the fact that I was using a fmic with a t25) but after a lot of searching I believe it was the mani.
To sum up what everyone is saying, if it ain't broke don't F with it.

One last thing to consider:

Measurement of unmodified T25 turbine inlet (Before fire-ring step): 2.1 inches

FP exhaust manifold collector outlet (2g unmodified OEM exhaust manifold on left with gasket): 2.37 inches

As said, the FP exhaust manifold will "bolt-on", but consider the port work that should be done to the turbine inlet of your T25. Is it still worth the effort to mount this exhaust manifold?

If you have a stock turbo keep the stock manifold. No need to waste money. The OEM unit is more than adequate for the stock turbo.

The stock 2g manifold is the best manifold you can use on the t25 and smaller turbos.

The fp units are larger and do cause an increase in boost lag, and have shown a decrease in horse power on the Dyno. If yours cracked fp is the best option for replacement

A new manifold isn't going to give you any extra horse power. The only reason you would want a new manifold is to run an externally mounted waste gate

Agreed^ The small T25 will literally choke your setup, if you went with the FP manifold you could turn up the boost and mount a wasgate
