manifold turbo bolts

I broke off two manifold to turbo bolts and I need to find there dimentions..So does anyone have the dimentions to these bolts..Has anyone got them from Fastenel?

M10 x 1.25mm pitch x 80mm long.

I've never had any luck with Fastenal tracking down the "hard-to-find" bolts for these cars. Most times I don't even give them a chance.

Try to stick with OE fasteners when it comes to ones subject to lots of heat cycles and stress like those. Differences in materials between the manifold/turbo and the bolt may make it seize in the future. Best to go with OE bolts and some antisieze!

Uh, that's dirt cheap if that's true. ExtremePSI has them for about $7/bolt.

Another issue with non-OEM bolts for this is they aren't nearly as strong. The OEM's are a grade 11, but I bet you'd be hard pressed to find something that hard from a store.

Bud, it is a lot of money, especially since you should get new conical washers (2 per bolt). But knowing that the OEM hardware will last, it's more worth it than chancing some aftermarket bolt.

DON'T buy the ARP turbo bolts- use the OEM bolts with the "11" mark on the crown.

If you don't want to shell out for the OEM bolts, try finding something like these at your local Fastenal- they have nearly the same strength rating as the OEM bolt:

I got the ones from fastenel,I have actually only drivin it like 10 miles actually since i got these LAST winter.This winter I didn't even drive it.I don't think they were leaking when I drove it last summer.

Update on my fastenel, manifold bolts.After they got warm, and car has been ran a couple times.I took the heat shield off.There was somepowdery whitish looking stuff on the bolts.

I did not even think of taking a picture.None of them broke when I took them out so that is a plus.

Why don't you recommend ARP for turbo fastening hardware? Not able to take the heat or too weak of material used?

Friend of mine used arps didnt like them pretty yes but the oem ones worked just great.

Because they decide to shear when you try to go and take them off. I broke all four when I was taking the turbo off of my car last summer. The bolts were bought from a reputable vendor here on the site and they were only 3 weeks old (and about 100 miles old) at the time they broke.

I have never broken an OEM one...EVER. This to include the original turbo bolts that were 15+ years old on my car.
