1G Best sparkplugs (non-turbo)

Hello guys, I have been reading forums about best spark plugs and all I could find here that the best plugs are NGK BPR6ES gapped to .28, but what is best spark plugs for non turbo 1g DSM? Or it is the same plugs?

I'm a fan of denso plugs. You have to check the "pre-gapped" ones with a non coin gapper, but they make comparable plugs to NGK on the iridium side.

It is not the same plug. The part number for a non-turbo 4g63 is bpr6es - 11. The dash 11 is the important part.

BPR6ES is the plug code

the number after the plug code is the gap.

no number means 0.8mm gap

'-11' means 1.1mm gap

technically, the same plug, except that it needs to be re-gapped as the user requires.

Sort of.
The electrode is physically longer on the -11 plug. It isn't just a pregap thing. I found this out the hard way years ago. Got nt plugs by mistake and to gap them at .028 the electrode was bent over instead of flat across. The number is 7131 for bpr6es and 7133 for bpr6es-11.

i used to use ngk plugs on everything. with all the BPR and BKR and BCPR numbers i can't keep shit straight.

so now i run denso iridium on most things.
its easy to remember.

IW20 ---- 1g non-turbo 2.0L , 1.8L
IK20 --- 2g non-turbo 2.0L
IK16 --- 2g non-turbo 2.4L

I think NGK are the best out there. I always use them if I have the option. Denso is a good brand too. Never liked Bosch or anything else. NGK and Denso have some impressive figures about way less misfires than other brands. There is info out there about how manufactures produce plugs with a certain amount of misfires acceptable and their successful firing rate. NGK and Denso actually are extremely good plugs. Both high quality Japanese brands. Auto light, champion, and a bunch of American and German brands have a way less successful fire rates. At least that's what the figures showed when I looked into this in the past.

Thank you guys for help, I ordered already some of those -11 ones. It was really confusing at first because when I was looking there were some BPR6ES-11, but stock numbers did not match...

@Turbo2g no, I ordered 4, but I live in Europe so there are very very little sellers that ship here. Usually they do not ship at all or the shipping price is like 30 bucks. Ended up paying 25$ for 4 with shipping.
