Maybe 5 times but that is what happens when you get bored.
Just waiteing on some money so I can have my head rebuilt when I thought I was going to have some extra money for the parts I wanted to get turns out the irs flock3d me on my return, so now I have to wait to get some money for my parts. This week I will pull off the intakemani and some other small parts and clean them up as well. :aha:

I don't think I will be ready by this summer but I am going to clean it up good.
I need to get a better pic of my v/c that thing is shiney best paint job I ever did on it too.
I need parts and to get back on the road man.:banghead:

I was about to hit a junk yard and look for a good radiator and just wondering what other radiator I could use just incase I did not come across a dsm radiator?

Took off some more parts.
Oil all over the im must have been from when I had a bad v/c gasket.:hmm:
This car is going to tick me off already.:banghead:
Did not see any oil around any area of the head so now I am not sure if my gasket is bad
but it is too late now and it needs to be changed already any how. So the next step is pull off the head and look for other leaks and fix them. :aha:

The vc came out nice edm, keep it up. I see you got a little cleaning fetish goin' on like me hehe. If you're tearing up the block apart you might as well rebuild it at this point or slap in some forged rods and pistons.

Thanks man. Now I have to pull the head and see what it looks like under it.
The way things are looking I don't think I am going to be back on the road for along time.
I am not sure if I want to mess with the bottom end but we will see when I get to that step if I am going to or not but I am not sure yet. This is alot of work maybe because it is my first time doing all this.

Ok so I have a bad sri filter and was wondering what size of filter I will need for it or are they all the same size?

fixed it took off that ruber part and cut half off and wraped it around the sri and then I stuck the filter in and turned it until it was stuck on so it should do for now.:p

Thanks man I will take a look and see if I find one.
Now I am not sure if I am going to install these in the car or get rid of them and buy some more parts
that I want to get for my engine.:hmm:

Sell the seats to get parts. Take your stock seats and re wrap them. Will save tons of dough and looks sweet. Can't wait to re wrap my extra seats...

Check out DSMJ89's thread. See how clean I got my engine bay. I'm still shocked as hell, how good it all came out...

I think I might do that but it is going to be hard to get my money back for them
but I guess I would like to have go fast parts better. Oh and I seen your bay it looks cleaner
now paint your v/c and get a plug cover so it will look nice.

Hey thanks man...

I have to try again to take the VC off. It was pretty stuck on there when I tried. I have to take the VC off the talon and swapp to gsx (It's Black). Did you notice I swapped out the TB elbow and CAS for a black one off the talon? I Have yet to run to the hardware store and get an Allen wrench to install my strut tower bar..

Ohh and I just sent the check out for Jose's CF gauge pod, and boost guage saturday. So in two weeks I'll have new stuff to install..YAY!!:thumb:

That is cool man post up some pics when it is done.
Well I did not like how rusty and how the paint was falling off this line so I had to do this.
I am going to clean every thing until it looks good I don't care if it takes a year.

Should I paint these black too and the tb or just clean them up?
Where can I get some new black wire loom?

Paint the waterneck yes. Your thinking on painting the intake manifold...It might look sweet as hell.. By wire loom you mean the black thing arounf all the wires...??You can get new ones at your local parts store..They should have more colors than black, or they will order you what you want..

Yea I might paint the im but it is going to take alot of work to get it done right because of the shape and size maybe a few hours of sanding and cleaning. Thanks man I will see if they have some wire loom and should I go with black loom or red loom oh and my plug wires are red that is why I am not sure what color to go with? Oh and don't worry I will be geting some parts soon.

Better pic of the vc.
I am going to hit the junk yard on monday see what I find me.

Ver nice..You shouldnt have painted the VC in the first place, cause you had to sand off the 5 different colors you put on there..

Im going to napa in a little bit to get some paint for my heat sheild, which will be black to. Then I'm going to try to swap the black VC from the talon.
