This is a stupid question and I'm stumped for time. I am putting my stock BCS back on while I fire up my new engine, until I get it broken in. For the life of me I can't recall which nipple goes to J-pipe and which goes to wastegate actuator.

Can some one smack me and then tell me:ohdamn:

Thanks guys.:thumb:

Why are you hooking up the BCS? What's wrong with running your wastegate pressure or greater pressure. I personally ran 20psi on my break in and it's running strong.

The hose on the nipple thats perpendicular to the body of the bcs goes to the wastegate actuator; the hose on the parrallel nipple goes to the aircan.

One more thing. Youre supposed to have a plastic tee fitting with two short lengths of vac hose attached. The end of one hose goes to the nipple on the turbo outlet elbow. The end of the other hose goes to the wastegate actuator, and the linc coming from the bcs attaches to the remaining nipple on the tee. Makes sense?

The vacuum port that is in-line with the solenoid runs to back of the MAF, and the one perpendicular to it, (or towards the front in stock location on top of air box), runs to a "T" on the waistgate line.

Good luck!

Agreed. Wastegate is just as good as hooking up the mess of hoses associated with the BCS.

Correct; here's a diagram to "help visualize":

Thanks for the info guys. I figured it would be safer to just hook up the stock way until I got the engine broken in, but after hearing some of the comments I may just buy my new MBC and call it good.

As always, quick answers, you guys are great:thumb:
