Ok when I bought my car the BCS was removed already. I was looking at my motor bay and noticed a little nipple that comes right off the back of the air can where the maf is. Looking at this link http://members.shaw.ca/dsm.1000q/Engineprimer/1G/Q3.htm, it shows one vacuum line going from the BCS to this nipple. Mine has nothing hooked to it. So I decided to plug it up with a screw so the car doesnt pull in unmetered air. Now with it pluged the car seems real hard to start when cold and last night I decided to gun it through 4th and hit about 115, as soon as I stopped boosting the engine light came on. I guess the question is what do I do with this nipple if the BCS is removed. It ran way better with it unpluged.
, I was starting to think it was a coincedence but it went away this morning. Usually I hit some boost but this morning I didnt because I had no gas. Maybe thats why the CEL did not come on because it seemed to come on when I was boosting hard. Thanks I will just plug it up.
