That looks like it's to the outside of the block, isn't it? If that's where you have it, it's absolutely fine. The port you want to block is going towards the main oil gallery. See this thread as a reference: Blocking off oil galley

Referring to that thread, the 1/8 NPT plug is to the outside of the block. The 1/16 NPT plug is going to the main oil gallery. That's what needs to be covered. And these bearings only have the one hole in them so if you have it towards the outside, it's a-okay.

Are you doing a balance shaft delete? or installing new bearing and trying to line the hole up?

Yes it is the first one that's on the oil pump side of the block . Thank you for the information

Looks like Brian had the answer. That hole doesn't do anything.
