Hi,
I have been putting off the install of the inner bearing for a while now as I have been swamped with both work and sleep. I was inspired to work on the car again, bolted a lot up and pushed this bearing in. It finally went in, however just as I pushed it in fully, the bearing split inwards. My question here is do I have to re do it or can I leave it the way it is. My worry is that engine vibrations and the oil pressure might pop it out. But then again, as it heats up it should expand, so Im stuck as which way to go. Any ideas or past experience?
Thank you.
