I have just done the balance shaft removal job and upgraded turbo and injectors so I raised the boost up a bit and now the oil leak I had before has turned to a gush but only while driving not at idle.
I am assuming that the added boost pressure was more than these old rings could take so now I am presurizing the crankcase to the point that it blows oil out of any possible oriface because I clean it up with brake clean, find a leak, seal it and each time I run it at idle it won't leak at all. Then I take it for a spin around the block and its soaked.
So is it a good assumption that I'm doing new pistons and rings now or is there another way to take control of this oil leak.
I've put all my spare cash into this car over the last couple months so giving up is not an option, I just took out another loan but I don't know what to buy
Extremely Frustrated
