Help i have a 1995 tsi awd and i am only geting power to the back tires.I hear a clicking sound coming from the transmission transfer case area. I have tryed jacking it up and spining the tries in the front but they do not move together like they should any help would rock ty
 
Yep, the center diff is gone in the trans. That is what happened to my 1G. I bought it with the trans out because the previous owner blew up the center diff.
 
Either a center diff, or you have toasted front axles, or the driver-side axle is seperated from the halfshaft.
 
Yup trannys junk, either buy a good used one or send it to shep for the economy build 945 bucks!

O and i forgot to mention DO NOT drive the car like this! what ever broke will get lodged in the gear stack and blow out of the case costing you more money.
 
Agree with all the people ^^^^^^^^
as for now while your getting power to the rear wheels you can drift the beast talon ;)
