AVCR is DEAD! Help!

Ok, I started day out as usual and went to school. I went to start my car up after school to leave and everything seemed normal except my apexi avcr boost controller. It didnt turn on at all! It stayed at blank screen while my air-flow converter and everything else turned on fine. Also, I assume that it messed up all my previous settings seeing as it is only boosting at 7psi now at WOT then slowly raising up in the upper rpms compared to 11psi and raising. BTW this is a 96 tsi awd w/:

3in exh/downpipe, intake, fmic w/ all piping, big 16g....

PLEASE HELP! I bought the car w/ most mods and don't know what else to do, I checked all conncections I could find and they were ok. I'm located in frederick, md if anyone could reccomend a good shop or provide any sort of advice. Thanks.

ok, it now seems to be coming on randomly....the whole screen & buttoms at same time then at when that cuts off(most of the time) just the buttons stay lit. could me soldering some of the connections have caused this problem. any help is appreciated. THANKS!
