I got a 2g gsx just put in my shift kit but still having the same problem but not as bad. The car from 1st to 2nd it tacks out like 4 times then it shifts but 2 Nd to 3 rd its fine. Anybody know what the problem could be?

What do you mean by "tacks out"? Like its hesitating and stumbling a bit? Are you sure the trans itself is still good?

He probably means that it's bouncing off the redline a few times then shifts. What does the fluid look like?

WOT or normal acceleration?

Its goes to rev limiter and tacks like 4 times then shift I was thinking a silonoid

Literally yesturday I did the transit slab shift kit fluid is new and at the right level but yea it hits the rev limiter normal driving it revs high then shifts when I get on the car it tacks but only first to secound

By "tacks" you mean "bounces off the rev limiter", I don't know where you got the term "tacks".. Anyway, it sounds like you're having either a TCU problem, or a trans pressure problem. I remember seeing a few of your threads with trans problems. If I remember right, it was recently rebuilt. You really need to go back to that shop and get it taken care of, or get a refund and have it fixed elsewhere (probably better).
