Auto GST smoke

So I have a GST now and I'm sure that the problem is the turbo, not internal. My question is what specifically can it be if the turbo the letting off smoke. Thick white smoke is coming out of the exhaust when I give it gas, little it of smoke when its just idle. My guess i that it's burning oil but can it e shaft play or what else?

Check for shaft play but it's probably just the turbo..Time for an upgrade maybe..

I was actually planning on getting a generic godspeed turbo for now, just cause I need a running car asap. Does anyone know if I'll need any other parts if I install a new 16g turbo? I have no idea about turbo chargers so i dont know if I need new manifolds or something. Car I got has a aftermarket exhaust and a blitz turbo timer if any of this helps.

I suggest you check your head gasket. One of the most common due to blowing white smoke. Head gasket replacement is very expensive,but if you want to get that fixed just me know I got someone that can do it.

Whats it smell like oil or coolant? im betting turbo from the amount your describing but you can take all 4 plugs out and see if they are wet or dry that would tell HG from turbo.

Smells alot like oil, but I'm having a shop check it out for me soon.
