Hey, so I'm getting a GST this week but it happened to smoke a crap load while I test drove it. The engine's new so I ruled out that it could be piston rings or head gaskets. I'm leaning more towards it being the turbo but I'd like to know what specifically could the problem be if it is the turbo? Thanks.

Simply because the engine is 'new' doesn't mean that the piston rings/valve seals are good or were installed/broken in properly. Don't ever just assume - Test.

You should perform a Compression and Leakdown Test to check the integrity of the engine.

Beyond that it could be multiple other things, one of which being exactly what you suspect it to be - The turbo.

Your still buying it after you found out its smoking? I would figure out why i spend my money on it, thats just me could be rings, valves, turbo who knows more money spent trying to fix the problems, thats just me.

Well the engine still has warranty so I can just get it fixed again. If it is the engine itself, if not then I'm leaning towards the turbo. And I know someone who can give me a new ebay turbo, even though I know I'm taking chances, but I just need it running more better than it is now.

Well thats good but the ebay turbo is hit or miss i personally would find a used 14b on ebay for around 100 bucks, or even classifieds, that way you dont have to take off the turbo, or risk damage to your enigne if that thing starts breaks and sends debris into your engine under warranty, dont see that being under warranty turbine failure, but thats my recommedation. Well figure out what your issue is with the smoke.
